After a quick maintenance break we headed to Florida!  It’s been a fun-filled week with our first stop at Campbell Middle School in Daytona Beach, on Wednesday and Thursday, where we met droves of children that couldn’t wait to experience the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit and history of the Tuskegee Airmen.  From there we moved to the New Smyrna Beach Balloon & Sky Fest, where we’ll be all weekend!  If you’re here, stop by and say hi!

We’ll finish up our Florida tour at the Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-In and Expo, April 9th through the 14th.  On Wednesday afternoon, the Tuskegee Airmen will be honored at Show Center during a special presentation.  As part of the presentation, two deserving students from the Central Florida Aerospace Academy will be presented with a gift on behalf of the CAF Red Tail Squadron for exemplary academic achievement.  It will be a momentous occasion that you won’t want to miss!

We’ll round out this Florida tour at the Tallahassee Open House, April 17-20.  If you live in Florida, hopefully you’ll have the chance to see us at one of these events, but if not please help us spread the word to family and friends.

Make sure you check out our Facebook page and Twitter for updates and pictures.  Oh and we’re now on Instagram, where you can see all of our activities and cool pics!  You can follow us @cafredtail.
