Take Off For Fun is an education kit created especially for teachers by the CAF Red Tail Squadron to help bring the message from RISE ABOVE to your classroom. This program aims to share the lessons and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen with students across America.

The posters reflect on how the Tuskegee Airmen rose above all of the obstacles they faced in order to fly and fight for America.

* “Red Tail Reborn” DVD set

This film includes historic interviews and unprecedented access to the Airmen and those who honor them.

* “RISING ABOVE: Lessons Learned from the Legendary Tuskegee Airmen”

This set of 20 pocket-sized booklets are a wonderful resource for children to learn the history and valuable lessons of the Tuskegee Airmen.

* “Don Hinz and the Red Tail Project”

This children’s book details the compelling story and passionate drive that led Minnesotan Don Hinz to develop the CAF Red Tail Squadron, America’s Flying Tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen.

* CD ROM of classroom activities and facts about the Tuskegee Airmen
