Lt. Col. George Hardy talks with the young men about the importance of staying in school.

Fair Saint Louis was held at Forest Park this year and over 250,000 people attended this patriotic event. The CAF Red Tail Squadron and representatives from the Hugh J. White TAI Chapter welcomed Lt. Col. George Hardy as the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit was set up at the Science Center’s Planetarium. 

Wednesday and Thursday were busy days as numerous interviews were conducted with radio station, KMOX with Charlie Brennan, and two television stations, KTVI and KSDK’s Show Me St. Louis Program. There were many people who came to the Exhibit because of these interviews. When Lt. Col. Hardy attended the 132nd Veiled Prophet Parade, there were many people who came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service.

Educational Outreach – The CAF Red Tail Squadron’s RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit was set up at the St. Louis Science Center’s Planetarium. Over 223 children enjoyed their RISE ABOVE Experience as they received their Inspirational Dog Tags. Groups include the Boys and Girls Club and Loyola Academy.
