Donate1The party hats and noise makes may be ready for your New Year’s Eve party, but there are still a few days left in 2014, which means that charitable gifts made today, tomorrow or Wednesday can still be deducted from your 2014 taxes!

The CAF Red Tail Squadron has made great strides since our humble beginnings. From an inspired idea that began with a heap of scrap, we’ve twice-restored our majestic P-51C Mustang to pristine and safe flying condition to take to the skies and wow young and old alike. We then expanded to include the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit that further works to fulfill our mission to educate audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen – America’s first black military pilots and their support personnel – so their strength of character, courage and ability to triumph over adversity may serve as a means to inspire others to RISE ABOVE obstacles in their own lives and achieve their goals.

And ALL of this has been made possible by the generous donations from YOU, our loyal supporters. To reach the young people that need to hear our message the most takes time, coordinated effort and – simply put – dollars. We need your help to continue this labor of love, and to inspire the next generation to discover and reach their full potential through the history and lessons of the Tuskegee Airmen.

So before you wrap your arms around your loved one and toast to “Auld Lang Syne,” please consider closing out 2014 with a show of support to the CAF Red Tail Squadron. We pledge to continue to work hard to fulfill our mission and honor these amazing airmen and their support crew with the respect and dignity that these American heroes deserve.

Happy New Year!
