We are fortunate to spend 42 weeks out of the year on the road, zigzagging across the country to tell the story of the Tuskegee Airmen through the exciting RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit and our P-51C Mustang Tuskegee Airmen. We are honored to have members of the media interested in what we do and we certainly enjoy their support. Getting the word out about our mission in this way is helping us achieve our mission to educate audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen!

Even though it was Labor Day weekend and like you all of us here at the CAF Red Tail Squadron were scrambling to enjoy the last days of summer, P-51C Mustang pilot and Squadron champion Bill Shepard was on point speaking about our efforts with the folks from Frontlines of Freedom, a radio show supporting American veterans. As an added treat, original Tuskegee Airmen Col Charles McGee is also a guest on the same show, so enjoy hearing directly from this fine American about his experience serving our country as a pilot in both WWII and the Korean War. Inspiration at it’s finest!
