Once again, we are very excited to be a part of Black History Month special events at CAF headquarters at Dallas Executive Airport. The RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit will be the centerpiece for activities for students in Southern Dallas and surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth communities. Are you a teacher, administrator or youth leader in the area? YOU are invited to this special by-appointment only field trip opportunity!

From January 29 to February 16 CAF is accepting reservations for school groups Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to learn about and by inspired by the Tuskegee Airmen.

While emphasizing the valuable life lessons of the Tuskegee Airmen, students will experience CAF’s Flight Plan for Life, a unique activity designed to help young people create a path to success while articulating their life goals. Visitors will also get “hands-on” with history, touching and feelings artifacts from World War II, bringing them out of display cases into the hands of students. Veterans will be onsite to meet with students and share their experiences as well.

To secure a slot for your students, contact CAF Vice President of Education (and our P-51C Mustang pilot!) Bill Shepard at bshepard@cafhq.org or (214) 330-1700 ext. 114.

Join us in Dallas and bring the inspirational message of the Tuskegee Airmen to your students!

The CAF Red Tail Squadron is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to educating audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, America’s first black military pilots and their support personnel. Learn more at www.redtail.org.
