Frederick D. Eubanks wrote this letter to his mother, it reads:

The termination of the war in Europe hasn’t affected the training for the Negro Cadets at all.  Our training will definitely go on.  I received that news directly from Colonel Parish, the commanding officer of this post.

When I graduate (December 14, 1945) I will proceed to lay aside funds for the postwar world.   MY plans are still not definite.   I don’t know if I should stay in for a while after the war or rush out into a rapidly changing economic system.

Well Mom, I don’t what else I can write to you now accept that I am thinking of you always.

Until Tomorrow Then.

Love Fred
