This poster is signed by original Tuskegee Airman pilot Lt Col Luke Weathers (USAF, Retired). Weathers was a native of Memphis, TN and graduated from Tuskegee April 29, 1943. He received the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross with seven clusters for the dozens of missions he flew over Europe and North Africa during World War II. After the War, he continued to break barriers as the first African American air traffic controller at the Memphis International Airport.
