Class 45-A-SE graduated from flight training on March 11, 1945, at Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama

Class 45-A-SE graduated with their wings on March 11, 1945, two months before the War ended in Europe. This photo is signed by pilot Eugene Richardson, originally from Camden, NJ. After honorable discharge, Richardson went on to become an educator in Philadelphia earning his Doctorate degree and serving as a high school principal. Dr. Richardson also dedicated much volunteer effort in the United States and Canada speaking to youth about the Tuskegee Airmen. His son, Eugene Richardson III, followed in his father’s footsteps, becoming a fighter pilot and airline executive.
