Los Angeles-based artist Dee Siffer created this fine art pencil portrait of Tuskegee Airman Lee Archer. Archer shot down three German Me-109s on October 12, 1944, flew 169 combat missions in World War II, and went on to have a distinguished career in the United States Air Force. He retired with 29 years of service. Archer passed away in 2010 at the age of 90.
