The P-51C Mustang and the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit were featured at the York Aviation Days event on Father’s Day weekend. The community kept both the Mustang and the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit busy throughout both days.

Dale Pritz, along with a host of other sponsors, was responsible for bringing the exhibit to York. The response from this community was overwhelming, as you can see by the lines of spectators waiting to see the RISE ABOVE movie. The crowd waited for hours just to see the Mustang fly. When Bill landed, he found himself surrounded by an applauding circle of admirers.

The media also supported the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit and the Mustang. There were numerous interviews in both the newspaper and television. And Dale purchased 5 billboards to advertise the CAF Red Tail Squadron in York.

Special guests included the family of Lloyd A. Carter, a Tuskegee Airman, who died in a tragic accident near Walterboro Army Air Field in South Carolina in June of 1945.

Attendance: 15,000
