On Saturday May 25th the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit will make a stop in New Orleans, thanks to the generous folks at Flightline First. This outstanding FBO located at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport presents the exhibit in conjunction with the National WWII Museum.

In addition to the squadron’s P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft, the National WWII Museum’s mobile education vehicle, the Red Ball Express, will be on site with activities for kids. Large artifacts from the Museum collection will also be on view. And as always, visitors will be treated to the exciting original movie “Rise Above” on our 160-degree panoramic screen, letting you feel the exhilaration of flying your own P-51 Mustang!

The display will be open by invitation only to minority school and church youth from the 22nd to the 24th, and then open to the public on Saturday the 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free!

This event will be held at Flightline First located at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport at 6001 Starts and Stripes Blvd., New Orleans, LA, 70126. Come see us and take advantage of this great (free!) opportunity to learn more about the CAF Red Tail Squadron and WWII. For group reservations please call 1-504-528-1944, ext. 229.

The CAF Red Tail Squadron is volunteer-driven 501c3 organization that operates as part of the Commemorative Air Force. For more information about the Squadron and its educational mission, visit www.redtail.org.
