Tuesday, April 18: Arrival and set up of National Tuskegee Airmen “Rise Above” Traveling Exhibit at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 519 West 19th Avenue, Gastonia, NC. (no tours)
Wednesday, April 19: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Tours of “Rise Above” Exhibit
Thursday, April 20: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Tours of “Rise Above” Exhibit
6:00 – 7:00 pm VIP tours
Friday, April 21: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Tours of “Rise Above” Exhibit
Saturday, April 22: MARSHALL S. CABINESS DAY
9:00 am: Parade from Hunter Huss High School to Tabernacle Baptist Church (TBC), including two bands, Black Queens from area high schools, former Miss Gastonia, NAACP, and others
10:00 am: Opening Ceremony in Tabernacle Baptist Church Worship Center
- Color Guard from South Point High School
- Proclamations from City of Gastonia and Gaston County
- Local, State, and Federal Officials present brief comments
