Memorial honoring 2nd Lt Albert Young

On January 21, 2018, exactly 73 years after Albert lost his young life at Blucina, there was a commemorative unveiling of the new plague in his memory. This plague will always and forever remind to the new generations the sacrifice of the soldiers who didn’t hesitate to put and even lose their own life for the peace in this world. The commemoration was attended by the members of the council, U.S. Embassy’s Defense Attaché Officer Col. Mark Wootan, Czech army military chaplain, firemen unit, a honor guard unit, military veteran car club guys with their Jepp Willises vozidel se svými vozidly Jeeps Willys, members of the Brno museum and the Aier Battle Over White Carpathians assn members helped with the event organization.
